Well, the Business Link regional website for the South East region went live yesterday - all according to schedule.
We have been working as technical project managers for the site since the beginning of April - so it has been a major project for us. We were contracted by Business Link Surrey to manage the implementation which consolidated the existing six websites run by the Business Links in the South East (Berkshire, Hampshire & Isle of Wight, Kent, Milton Keynes Oxfordshire & Buckinghamshire, Surrey and Sussex) in to one new Regional website.
It was a pleasure working on such a high profile project - Zoe Underdown at Business Link Kent worked tirelessly to sort the content out and Alex de Bresser provided the support of a great overall project manager.
The new Business Link South East Regional site is specifically directed at small business owner managers and those thinking of starting a business and holds a wealth of information. It has over 450 guides, close to 5000 pages and some great tools to help anyone running a business.
There are too many people to thank individually for their role in making this happen…. The biggest thanks of all go to Zoe Underdown and Dave Lakins, who have done a fantastic job setting up the infrastructure, working up the content and fixing all the issues. These two have worked tirelessly (I think both may be about to conk out from sheer exhaustion…). Their total professionalism and determination have ensured that the launch has gone so smoothly. It’s been an honour and a pleasure to work with them on this project.
